Halloween at the Hangar ’23!

The old campfire stories are true: if you turn off all the lights and whisper “Built4BBQ” three times in the mirror, Charmboy will appear from the shadows to melt your miserable human face. We’re wildly stoked to present the return of one of the all-time great 518 rock bands and a big part of this little music collective, shredding forth from beyond for the annual Halloween at the Hangar party on Friday, October 27!

Charmboy’s first appearance in four long years heads up a devil’s smorgasbord of sounds at Built4BBQ’s Halloween hootenanny. From the the militantly high hardcore punk of Schenectavoidz to the groovy get-down of Front Biz to Pony in the Pancake‘s psychedelic surf-pop, there’s a slice of spooky fun for everyone. Dress up and party down! $10 at the door (cash only, ATM and great eats across the street at The Ale House), 8 PM show.

And get this! Apparently this marks 10 years of Built4BBQ and these Halloween shows. Our very post on this page tells tale of the absolutely batshit 10-band Whole Hog Halloween bill we threw together at our dearly departed Valentine’s Music Hall back in 2013. We were nothing if not ambitious when we kicked this thing off. A decade later, we’re all older and busier and slower and lazier and soberer, but it sure still is fun getting some good friends together to play some good tunes. We remain Built4BBQ 4ever.
